Fed policy meeting on inflation

Central bankers expect inflation will fall to 2.6 percent by the end of 2022 and 2.3 percent by the end of 2023, according to projections released at the Fed’s policy meeting in December. At a news conference after the meeting, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome H.
