I don't know what to say. I know hundreds of people through work, with a bunch of contacts in 5 different states. I have tons of family and friends across the country in many supposedly hard hit cities, and I'm not sure anyone has even mentioned knowing someone who had it, much less contracted it themselves. I spoke to the bartender a couple days ago and he said nobody in their whole restaurant group had ever gotten it.My LIVED EXPERIENCE is turning me paranoid.

Not to mention, people who are asymptomatic can still spread it to other people who might actually come down with it. In March I might have been able to understand the "this is a fraud" play, but at this point, it's definitely serious. In all seriousness I'm not saying "virus = fraud" I'm more curious how the hell this is getting spread. Like if, say, of the 662 new cases in Arkansas yesterday, 250 were all a close knit black community that attended Ray Ray's bbq last weekend. Because I don't understand how the numbers have gotten to where they are without coming anywhere close to me IRL. That is what I find puzzling.

Yeah one guy. He had high fever, puking every hour or so etc. Lasted like 2 weeks. Said he was so oxygen deprived he thought he was going to die. Updating his will and shit. He recovered tho. Didnt go to the hospital even though he should have. I think this is the case for many who dont go to the hospital and then die at home without being counted in the stats. The real death numbers are probably close to 1M in the US alone.
