YLS made a mistake in admitting Elizabeth Wurtzel.

Author: :;:,.,:..,,,.;,

Not only was her 160 LSAT horrendous, but her claim to fame, Prozac Nation (1994), was not a first-rate memoir. The 2001 film adaptation starring Christina Ricci was exceptionally bad.

If I wanted to read about some insecure college whore battling depression whilst taking fluoxetine, my interest would be better served from reading Duke pornstar Belle Knox's Twitter. After all, unlike Prozac Nation (1994), Belle Knox's tweets guide the reader toward a lucid transcendentalism--an idealized version of the world. For instance, her January 8, 2015 tweet, "Just got fucked at the college bookstore in the not fun way" reveals Knox's cognitive dissonance. On the one hand, her lascivious desire to get forcibly penetrated without her consent. And on the other hand, her known stance on sexual assault as"problematic" and "NOT OKAY." In an idealized version of the world--one without contradiction--her tweet would not be nonsensical.

Wurtzel failed the bar on her first try. She passed after two years of study. She got hired as a biglawyer and worked for about two years but no longer practices law. Now she spends her time applying her YLS JD writing proposals in favor of eliminating bar exams.
